Lack of Counter Space
In the Laundry Room - or Any Room
I have a rather small laundry room, much smaller than the laundry room in my previous house, and I was finding it difficult to fold clothes. My only horizontal space in my laundry room that i could use for folding and stacking was the top of my washer and dryer.

I usually discover my best "finds" when I am not even looking for them, and that was the case when I was in the Atlanta last summer. I went to the Ikea store, and that is where I came across the answer to my counter-space problem.
I bought two wall-mounted drop- leaf tables, and they were very inexpensive. Since they have been installed side-by-side in my laundry room, I now have the option of popping them up for folding space, or putting them down for walking/room space. Perfect!
They could be used in a variety of places where you need pop-up counter space.
